Replace Texts with Merge Tags
Kombai allows you to replace specific texts(e.g. First Name) and links(e.g. Unsubscribe and Manage Preferences) used in the design with ESP/MAP's merge tags. Once the texts/links and merge tags are defined, Kombai will replace the defined text with the defined merge tags while exporting the code to ESP.
Follow the steps below to replace texts or links with ESP merge tags:
- Go to Settings and scroll to Replace texts with Merge Tags.
- Under Texts tab, add the text to the Text column.
- Add the merge tag to the Merge Tag column, tap
, and confirm.
Kombai will replace the defined texts with the defined merge tags while exporting the code to ESP. Your ESP will auto-detect the merge tags and replace them with their corresponding values.
